Vukub-Caquix

Vukub-Caquix
   A giant of the Quiche Creation Legend as told in the Popul Vuh. His name meant ‘Seven times the colour of fire’ and he had two sons, known as ‘Earth Heaper’ and ‘Earthquake’, by his wife Chimalmat. He was eventually destroyed by Hunapú with the aid of Xbalanqué.
